This NYE Tradition of Ours

This is what always happened to us on the last & first day of every year.

We got ourselves a huge room.

We were downing the drinks like we never drank before.

We wrestled for the mics among ourselves.

We made a big fool of one another.

We went totally mad when the clock strikes 12.

We ended the night with nasty breaths, churning stomachs and trimmed wallets.

This is us spending the remaining moments of a year together.

This is us celebrating the beginning of a brand new year together.

This is us still laughing, well-wishing, getting wasted together.

This is us still being in each other’s company after all these years.
