April No Fool

Disclaimer: This is NOT an April fool’s joke

The ticking of the alarm clock is unbearably louder than usual tonight.

This may well be a sign to remind me of that age-old adage—Time waits for no man!

Suddenly, those ticking started to resemble certain voices, like:

“This is the end of first quarter of 2008”

“One-fourth of this year has expired”

“25% of the year is gone”

Heck! Even my clock thinks I am a LOSER not much of a winner.

Either this, or that lingering feeling of Un-accomplishment & Under-achievement of mine has taken its toll on me.
